Myself and my partner visit the Eagle pretty regularly. The Sunday lunch last week was delicious and at such a reasonable price. Theres a choice of 3 sizes for smaller appetites too. The chocolate pudding was also lovely. If you want decent food at good prices in a traditional country pub, visit the Eagle
Had the steak, cooked perfect with very nice chips, onion rings, mushroom & tomatoe. The owner/chef spent time talking to us and made us feel welcome. The young lad behind the bar also very pleasent and was happy to help.I would return here again if in the area.

Went there with a couple of friends last night for food. The steak and ale pie was excellent…a proper pie, not just a pot with a pastry lid. The fish and chips were also excellent, with nice crispy batter…and good chips and all reasobably priced…would definitely recommend and we’ll back there soon
