Bars in Clitheroe
“Absolutely the best meal we have been served locally for long long time, the homemade cheese and onion pie and steak pudding were delicious and actually hand cut REAL chips and green veggies of the day, will definitely be returning soon for another truly delicious meal. Thank you to the chefs who cooked the meal and the bar staff, keep up the great work.”

“A great selection of cask and craft keg and so handy for the railway station; the quality bar snacks look amazing and are great value. Plenty of space in the beer garden at the back.
A Verified Venue on the Untappd App and a worthy entry in the 2025 Good Beer Guide.”

“Second impressions did rather win us over. We booked for Sunday lunch and arrived early and were made welcome.
But no ale ? in a pub? Like many others that had emptied the barrels likely Saturday evening and didn’t want to tap another probably until reopening on Wednesday? Like a petrol station with no fuel in my humble opinion and does make you feel a bit less wanted than those who have drunk before you.
That said, we had a very nice three course lunch for £38/ person.
The pub is very nicely decorated and laid out and the two chaps were very good.
We then cycled to Waddington, about a mile and found three great pubs and a club all open and busy. I got my pint in the end ????”

“We had a fantastic experience at Jungle in Clitheroe. It truly made our trip from Manchester worthwhile. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Ramzan, whose friendliness and attentiveness stood out immediately. He made us feel genuinely looked after, and his service throughout was nothing short of superb.
The food was absolutely excellent, full of flavour, beautifully presented, and made with care. Every dish we tried exceeded our expectations, and it is clear the team take pride in what they do. The atmosphere was relaxed yet vibrant, and the whole experience had a personal touch that is so often missing elsewhere.
It is rare to find a place that gets everything right - great food, exceptional service, and a host who truly goes above and beyond. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area. Highly recommended!”

“Lovely spot. So welcoming, helped me choose between two options, great quality food.
We arrived un-booked but they still managed to seat us.
Food was delicious and filling, and they even gave the dog a lil' treat.
Charming waitress, and I only wish I had coins to give them a tip.
(Ordered the Halloumi, wedges, and a sausage barm)”

“We arrived to a warm and friendly welcome by the lady on the desk and lovely man called Johnny who immediately made us feel welcome. We had friends with us and it had been a while since we had tried three fishes. The young lady on the bar Kelcie I think she was called made great cocktails and there we had a great waiter for the evening , but couldn’t remember his name. He was warm and made us feel relaxed, topping our wine and drinks throughout the evening . I had the tempera scallops and prawn , wow , beautiful flavours and Lamb . So so good , and you must try the chips ! Never had chips like it . Food, service ambience was great. It’s so hard to get good staff in the industry but for me , exceptional . Nice touch when Nigel came to the table at the end of the night . Big thanks to out fabulous waitress Kacie. Will be back next week .”
