Great beer, friendly staff, brilliant outdoor space. What's not to like.

Brilliant bar with a fantastic selection of beers, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Hot pies and samosas to soak up the beer. One little criticism, I would get rid of that dreary 60s/70s play list. I've only heard it a couple of times but it's an atmosphere killer.

Pleasant modern bar with 4 properly kept cask ales with 10 or 12 keg beers/ciders.It also has some bar snacks (warm sausage rolls etc)Not really an "eating place" but nice for a few drinks.

Fantastic beer selection. If stuck for choice, you can have 3 ⅓ and try a selection. It is now my favourite bar in Clitheroe.. Also a very nice beer garden, well worth a visit..plus dogs are allowed in.

Great choice of cask ales, friendly and helpful staff
Absolute gem of a gaff! I had a few hours to spare today and went to Clitheroe for the afternoon. Stopped in here and asked for the most random drink they had to offer.... Got offered a couple of samples of their guests ales etc. And settled for a Blueberry Sour..... Amazing!Quirky little gaff. Fairly priced. Knowledgeable staff! Will definitely visit again

Within a pie throw of Clitheroe market, this is a great place to stop for some refreshing beer. With 4 hand pulls on the bar, and 11 keg fonts on the back you will be spoilt for choice.Pork pies, sausage rolls, and Scotch eggs available for ballast.

Great venue serving well chosen craft ales and a variety of other alcoholic, no alcoholic drinks, including coffee/tea. Fabulous staff very friendly and very knowledgeable about all drinks. Not tobe missedKid-friendliness: Everybody is welcome. well behaved adults, kids, and dogs. Use town centre car parks. Close to the station and town centreParking: Local town centre car parks, not very expensive

Love a visit to the beer shack. The music is always really good, and the service is friendly. I don’t actually drink, but my husband says the beer choices are excellent (so are the soft drink options). Great addition to have the pies too ?

Visited the Beer shack yesterday. What a fabulous find, with a brilliantly comfortable beer garden at the rear. The staff were very friendly & knowledgeable about the different beer, letting me sample before I bought. Good job as I wasn’t keen on my first choice lol. Would definitely return & a must for anybody with a liking for craft beer. 5*
