“We had our wedding last Saturday at Astley Bank and wow. The whole day was seamless. The staff were attentive and friendly, food was amazing and hotel looked stunning. We can not recommend Astley enough. We had the most amazing day and a large part is down to the wonderful people who work there. A special mention to the wedding co ordinators Veronika and Lauren. “Came here for a Sunday Lunch for the first time since moving near by and I have to say it was excellent. My partner and I are what one would refer to as ‘Roast dinner snobs’. Therefore we are very hard to please when it comes to eating out for a Sunday Roast however the beef was cooked to perfection, there was an incredible amount of food on the plate with a mixture of well cooked veg, beautifully seasoned roast potatoes and creamy mash, a giant home made Yorkshire pudding all with tasty gravy. If we are to fault one thing it would be the cauliflower cheese was slightly watery and the cauliflower was a little hard.
Very friendly staff and great timely service.
We will definitely be making this a regular occurrence and recommending to family and friends.”

“Visited this evening with my partner and friend for a partners birthday meal. First time visiting being from Wales and was absolutely blown away by the quality of food and service. Nothing was too much trouble both the owner and the barmaid/waitress were so friendly and helpful. The food was superb quality and well presented. The atmosphere was lovely and excellent decor.
