Myself and 2 friends visited Saturday 13th January 2024. We hadn't booked a table. On approach the car park was quite full and I thought that we may have to venture elsewhere. Inside, thankfully a couple of tables were available. The restaurant has a lovely homely feel. We were approached by Jodie, who was incredibly polite and helpful. Went here for refreshments after my mother-in-laws funeral. Had very little notice but everything was excellent, the advice they gave us was very helpful when we went to enquire and the room was a perfect size for our needs , you could probably fit about 40-50 in easily. The selection of Buffets was wide ranging for all budgets and excellent value. The food was top quality and plentiful and hot drinks available if required. Mu sister booked us to go here for my birthday meal with my husband. Lovely member of staff looked after us sorry I didn't get her name but she was lovely and polite and poured a perfect pint of guiness. Husband had the heifer burger, which he said was lovely and juicy, I had the steak stroganoff, which was absolutely divine. Shared a side of onion rings. Then we had dessert their cheesecake is to die for!!!! My only criticism is that the mains were a little on the small side...read full review
