Pubs in Fence

“I popped in to the Pendle Inn a while back for a drink, and I saw that there were rooms available at the back of the hotel, I decided with my heart I would stay here on my next visit.I did what my heart said and stayed on Thursday 16th of November where I was given bungalow number 6, I was impressed by the lay out of this accommodation, it has a self contained kitchen with a microwave, kitchen utensils, 4 wine glasses, 4 tumbler glasses for orange juice or similar, a dining table with chairs, they even had fairy liquid by the sink ( not seen that before) a basket with a choice of tea and coffee and two packets thrown in for good measure.The bathroom is spacious with a bath and shower, bathroom paper provided, there is little bottles of shower or bath liquids for you to use on the shelf above the bathroom sink.There is storage just to the right of bathroom for your case/s.The stairs lead you right up to the bedroom which is light, spacious and has the biggest bed known to man,(I thought mine was big until I saw theirs) I would definitely stay again but next time I feel it would have to be longe.The Pendle Inn area is quiet, remote and dark, the food is above expectations and great quality, you want quality then please have a stay here.I don't just want to stay here I want to live here, cannot wait for my next stay x”

“Came here without a booking after walking pendle hill in the rain. They were not quite serving lunch yet but we were made to feel very welcome and had a brew by the gorgeous fire to warm up. When food was being served we had the fish and chips which was really tasty but the star of the show was the curry sauce, absolutely delicious! A great pub to finish off in after a lovely walk.”

“I was looking for a good place to go for some food with my family and I can across this place and I went in and asked if the where still serving food at 7pm and they said yes and then proceeded to ask me how many people I wanted to seat for so I told them 4 and the guy on the bar went and spoke to his manager and he told me I could have a table in the middle of the pub so I asked if there was any chance I could change that as I have a small child with disabilities and didn't like being in the middle of a crowded place so he went and told his manager my circumstances and they proceeded to take me to a quiet place in the pub and said he would clean the table for me and my family then he didn't wait to long after we sat down and asked if we wanted any drinks and then proceeded to go get us menu, we had a look at the menu and he came back with drinks and we placed our order of food the guy also made my youngest daughter with disabilities feel so welcome in the pub and when she had a few little moments in pub nobody said anything to us and we waited about 20mins for food which was brilliant the staff came and asked if everything was okay for us and kept checking if my youngest daughter was enjoying her food and she was very happy with her pizza and there understanding of her disabilities and my food was perfect I dont write a review if I didn't like the food and serviceI recommend going to this lovely family friendly pub and will be going with the rest of my family and friendsThanks again to all the staff here for helping me feel welcomed hereHere are the pictures of the food we ordered and will be ordering again in the near futureKid-friendliness: The staff made my kids feel welcomed and when my youngest daughter had a few little moments nobody said anything about it they have a brilliant children's menuThe one thing this pub could change is they could have a few colouring pictures with crayons for kids to colour in while they wait for their foodThanks for making us feel so welcomedWheelchair accessibility: My daughter has a special disability pram and I didn't have any problems getting in the pub as there is a wheelchair ramp from carpark and the doors are wide enough to fit wheelchairs through and the tables are not to low or to high they are perfect to fit wheelchairs under”
