We have stayed at the North Euston numerous times and loved it. We decided to pop in for a coffee with our grandson. The lady said the main restaurant was full so she took us to the bay restaurant. We ordered coffees and juice. But because we were not ordering food. Vince, the waiter was very, very rude to us. He was, in fact, super rude. It's such a shame as the actual hotel is lovely.

We had a great time at the lifeboat ball but the food was a let down compared to last year's menu.

There were 11 of us so we pre-ordered our meal from the usual menu. The service was rapid and smooth making us feel welcome. Dishes were removed only when everyone had finished their course and any special wishes were dealt with swiftly and without fuss. The chef is new but all our courses were tasty, well prepared and hot. The chips were exceptional. One of us had the butternut squash risotto, which the guest found okay but rather too much liquid. All in all can recommend.

We went for a family lunch, bar staff nice. The carpets were covered in old food & crumbs, as were the seats. considering this was midday. They obviously hadn't cleaned from the day before. Fish & chips nice, however the kids meals were shocking. Microwave pizza, hard on one side & sloppy on the other, burnt garlic bread & soggy days old salad that was brown & limp. I wouldn't feed it to wild animals never mind expect my children to eat it. The kitchen staff should be ashamed of themselves for sending out such awful food..

Christmas dinner. The first course of soup.was lovely and friends loved the garlic mushrooms. The Christmas dinner.although very tasty was very much a disappointment.2 small roast potatoes.2 sprouts.mash.and turkey.no other veg at all.the waiter seemed very flustered.not very professional at all .the desserts were nice.but suddenly appeared a bowl of pigs in blankets.the waitress stating .they forgot to put them on the dinner.we were eating our dessert ?.X coffee and tea was served we waited quiet a while for our mince pies as was stayed on the menu when booked.waiter did not. know mince pies were included. So out came the mince pies.shop bought I may add.We were all disappointed with the service.and never had a Christmas dinner with the only veg two sprouts.what a let down

We had lunch here yesterday - we both went for the special Tuesday steak deal with a glass of wine - I have to say it was absolutely superb. Presentation is very nice and staff cant do enough for you. Ambient, pleasant surroundings and just really great food. This is my third visit in perhaps 5 weeks and it's become quite a favourite for my husband and I . The menu is quite extensive and I could eat most of it and its good value too-intact excellent value. We both have our eyes on the Club sandwich for our next visit which will be very soon I'm sure. Thanks to the lovely staff and great chef- really is great food at the right price.

We went for the carvery. Wasn't hot but was okay. My issue here was the utterly terrible attitude of the man who serves the meat at the carvery. I had already seen him snapping at 2 lod ladies in the queue further down from me. Then it was my turn and he snapped loudly (as I only wanted vegetables. Wow, it was loud and condescending. I didn't react because, well, why? So thanks, but no thanks. I prefer my food without the appalling attutude

A grand looking hotel large and would imagine bustling in it's day. We went for dinner and found the food of a reasonable standard, good service and friendly. The let down was that the drinks were expensive a pint of Coors and large glass of white wine £10. I would go again and you should give it a try.
This was the second time we have been here for Sunday lunch having previously taken the mother in law and her husband with us. it was very good the first time and this was the reason we returned just my wife and i this time. The food was really good again and th ambience is very relaxing. Service (mainly from the kitchen coping with a large table of 18) was a little slow but we were in no rush and the staff were polite and apologetic, Really good value for the 3 course. I would certainly recommend this and they cater for coeliacs too

We had the three course Sunday roast and couldn’t fault the food or the service! Was nice to see a vegetarian roast dinner on the menu as not all restaurants do vegetarian roast dinners. Food was delicious and the veg had lovely seasoning and was full of different flavours rather than the usual plain bland veg most places serve. All staff were lovely, polite, professional and efficient! Would definitely eat here again!
