Kidsnape Farm, Inglewhite Rd, PrestonI have visited The Lookout on many occasions for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and afternoon cake or ice cream. The food is always very good, well cooked and presented beautifully. I love a traditional full English the breakfast. The bacon, sausage and black pudding is clearly from a good butchers. The hash brown bites being mine and my son’s favourite part. Afternoon tea is beautifully presented with a perfect mix of savoury and sweet. The soup and fries are a lovely touch with a different theme cake pop each time. The afternoon tea is a wonderful treat especially for a special occasion. The smashed burger is my favourite lunch meal with homemade burgers, always freshly made and hot. My son especially enjoys an ice cream, the toy corner and seeing the alpacas. The staff are always welcoming and polite and often recognise us from previous visits. Nothing is too hardwork with them and I can happily go on my own with two children under 3. Today I organised a surprise baby shower for my friend. Most who had attended had never been to The lookout and expressed how lovely it was and how good the food was. There was 15 of us and we couldn’t fault a thing. The food was hot, all came out the kitchen quickly and enjoyed by all. Thank you for such a great eating establishment we will be back on many occasions as usual. Keep up the amazing work.

Horns Ln, Goosnargh, PrestonWhat a totally stunning place!
This is a gastropub at it's best! The restaurant is so beautifully created to fit in the locality, wood., stone, open plan....sits perfectly in a rural area.
All the team are cracking, very well trained, attentive, miss nothing & know about the good & the wine they are serving
The atmosphere is busy without being overwhelming, friendly & classy.
Now, have I mentioned the food? I love a compact menu, I find this usually means that all focus is on getting the manageable number of dishes bang right, they manage this and then some.
You're missing a trick if you don't pop in here....a fabulous go to rural delight!
