Food absolutely amazing, had the pork with apple and mushroom sauce, excellent food which was served quickly. Staff so nice and friendly, honestly a genuine lovely pub.

Been here a few times for food and a drink. Such a nice, pleasant, local atmosphere, all staff and the chef are great, so welcoming, friendly, chatty and caring. Chef goes out of his way, where possible, to check on tables etc, showing care and pride in his work. Lovely. Thank you.

Visited today, fantastic little place, has the majority of cafe business in the village as no other cafe except village centre which isn’t open weekends. It has a lovely seating area at the front and inside, and a courtyard area to the back where dogs are allowed.Service whilst friendly was not the best, both our coffee order and food order took sometime to arrive, but have to say that when they did it was very tasty.Either needs a person in charge of ordering etc as not enough staff /ordering system.The front we so sat outside in the court yard at the back, where a little tlc would make a huge difference to the experience.Chairs were a tad tatty no seat pads/cushions so low. Tables had seen better days too. Weeds in the planters, also a dirty ashtray left in planter.Won’t take much to bring it back to its full potential. Hopefully this is a work in progress and will be rectified to offer its customers a more ambient surrounding.

Been to this pub plenty of times and the food never disappoints! The staff are always kind and the wait for food and drinks is never long either. Would definitely recommend this pub.Vegetarian options: There are some super tasty veggie options, and the salt and pepper halloumi starter is absolutely wonderful, I get it every time I go!

Took the family for Sunday dinner and was totally impressed with the food and service. Value for money was good and atmosphere perfect for everyone including grandchildren. Have already booked again.
