A lovely traditional pub that should be used by all locals and passers bye.No food just well presented and lovely landlady. Beer garden and car park adds to the location.The current climate isn't helping, and of course August is the quiet month.Pool table, big TV that isn't loud and is a hub during big events.Go. Starting point for a local 4 mile walk to the Halow and back with the local charity, The Rossendale Ramblers, free car park and a welcome shandy at the end of the walk in the beer garden.

One of my best mates lives here and when I stay over we come here regularly.Absolutely amazing pub, proper local pub. The land lord is a nice fella, the staff are always lovely and the beer is plentiful, with lots of choice and it's always delicious.There's a decent beer garden as well. Well worth coming in :)
