Had an hour to spare on a trip to Lancaster on a Saturday afternoon so we decided on a quick board game. We arrived just before opening time but we were still welcomed into the venue straight away. We were introduced to a new board game and had a very quick but well defined set of rules explained to us by the owner. Rapidly expanding without losing any of the great things that make this THE FLGS for the area. Bigger game space, bigger community, wider range of stock, still reasonably priced and with excellent value for stay and play.The coffee and cake shop is also fantastic, and not trying the vegan chocolate cake would be a sin.Disabled access isn't great, ditto if you have a pram BUT the staff are more than willing to help with the three steps that are an issue.The evening game nights...read full review

Very friendly and welcoming boardgame cafe and store, a great visit for anyone who is a fan of miniature wargames, ttrpgs, or even if you just want a coffee with friends whilst playing one of the many games they have in their library.
