We were staying at the nearby Dog Inn who do not offer breakfast and we were recommended to go to the Old Station Cafe which was only 250m away. The recommendation was inspired. As a group of 4 mature adults we had the best breakfast experience ever. The menu is extensive and the welcome is very friendly. One guest had the full English Veggie option; two had American pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup and I thoroughly enjoyed the Greek Yoghurt with berries and granola...read full review

Lovely prepared and tasty food, moderately priced in cosy and relaxing surroundings. Great bonus is the choice of Atkinsons coffees, superbly tasty decaff included. Thouroughly recommended.

More expensive than expected! But the food was very good. Service was fine. Sat outside and there are blankets provided, which is great. Even though it was a hot day, the folded blankets provided a bit of extra comfort on the backs of the metal chairs ? Also have an accessible toilet, handy for my elderly mum.
