Not the best Costa franchise I've visited! It was quite busy when we visited, but managed to get a table. Most of the usual Costa range is available.The staff seemed to be a little stressed, and to a degree, this meant we didn't get the warmest of greeting.Also they didn't serve one of the products that is advertised on the bus stop directly opposite. They had run out of a couple of products as well.I will call back in again at some point as it's convenient if you're staying at the Travelodge!

Great place for a variety of hot and cold drinks. Good selection of sweet food. Plenty of seating inside and seating outside. Very clean and staff are very pleasant.

Stood waiting at the till for a long period of time while the staff finished up talking laughing and joking around until they realised nobody is making the drinks I ordered that I paid for.No apologies nothing what's so ever rude and ignorant.Tables scruffy flys everywhere dirty place rude staff need to learn some manners and customer service.

Like many national chain coffee shops this place is up and down. I've read the negative reviews of others and agree, at times, queuing time is too long and toilet facilities are sub standard. I have also enjoyed good service here and think low staff numbers is more of an issue than bad attitudes. Compared to Costa Lytham up the road this is way better.Parking: Shared parking with Marks and Spencer amongst othersWheelchair accessibility: Good wheelchair access and disabled parking space right outside the door if you can get one

Busy day in Lytham and found a free table in here. Ordered our frappes, two strawberry & one chocolate brownie, all made to order by the manager. Very tasty. Clean and fresh smelling toilets.

I'm not normally one to leave poor reviews, but unfortunately, after this afternoons visit, I feel I have no choice. It was raining hard outside, but the place wasn't very busy, maybe ⅓ of the tables were available, however most of these had dirty crockery on and the ones that didn't were almost all in need of a good wipe down. The service was below average to say the least. Having stood at the collection bit of the service area for some time, I eventually had to ask a member of staff, if the drinks on the tray were mine or someone else's order, turns out they were mine, but the young lass.hadnt seen fit to say anything. Although of the 3 staff on duty, she was the only one particularly doing anything. Just as we were leaving, some 15 mins later a staff member started clearing. I think we'll be going back to using one of the independent coffee shops/cafes on the square from now on.

I don't normally leave a negative review but on this occasion it is thoroughly deserved. We have visited this location twice in the last month and wont be going again. Toilets are unclean and no paper, no hand wash, attitude when this was raised was one of total disinterest. Dirty dishes left on most of the tables for long periods without any attempt to remove them and wipe the tables. Dirty cutlery!!. Quality of the drinks served varied on both occasions (not in a good way). Some staff are pleasant others are rude and should not be employed in a customer facing environment. There are now far too many coffee outlets competing with Costa to have any need to put up with such poor standards. I am happy to be contacted to verify the authenticity of this review.

Ordered drinks via click and collect yet when I arrived I was told by the lad with the glasses they were closed.The order was placed before they closed, which is apparently 6pm. Although google says they are open until 6.30pm and the Costa App says collection is available until 6.45pm. Unhelpfully he told us to call customer services for a refund- there is no number for customer service ?. Chased my refund down via Facebook messenger.The couldn’t care less attitude by staff is pretty disappointing, especially considering it was 6.03 when I arrived!

A nice little coffee shop in the centre of lytham. Parking free outside for upto one hour. Service was with done with a smile. Hot chocolate was beautiful with cream and marshmallow. There are plenty of seats inside and a couple of seats outside if weather permits. Prices are usual for Costa coffee shops.
I visited costa coffee lytham costa should be ashamed it’s absolutely filthy . If this was not a chain I’m sure the health would of closed this down . Customers are paying to eat and drink in a filthy dirty environment. Staff standing round chatting ignoring the dirt and filth . I mentioned to the manager about the state of the toilets . Her reply was she never goes in there . This place needs a good scrub and deep clean and needs to teach its staff some basic cleaning routines . As you can see by the pics this is filth that is ground in and built up over a long period . There is no excuse for this as it costs nothing to be clean you should be ashamed

Always enjoy the coffee / drinks here - excellent coffees !! However, I do question the cleanliness and hygiene practices. After having visited this morning, I observed dirt & rubbish on entrance carpet - empty hand sanitiser machine. Also watched staff clear used cups etc., from the tables, but did not spray or wipe these !! As this is a place where lots of people are coming and going, it is necessary to pay attention to hygiene, and regularly clean the tables before the next lot of customers arrive. NO tables were cleaned in my hour of being there. This is very poor in my opinion. Staff should be trained properly to observe cleanliness standards. Clearly lacking at this venue, and it's not the first time I have noticed - many times in the past, there's often dirty tables as you walk in. Come on Costa, smarten yourselves up, as your coffee is good !!

My Americano was only lukewarm yesterday so today i asked the barista guy with glasses if i could have a hotter one please to which he curtly replied 'nope,water comes at one temp so i cant" Not great customer service skills!
