Visited this place for the first time for approx 2 years. If I recall correctly there was no problems during that visit both the service and food were fine. Sadly not this weekend! Only one waitress/ server on duty and one chef. Usually if there's quite a wait for food to be served and ready the customer is told before ordering therefore enabling the choice as whether you want to wait or leave. I was served with burnt sausages, hard becons and cheap thin bread. No option for brown bread. My friend got over cooked chips that looked and tasted like been refried a couple of times. Also, cash only payment. I give stars for services but not for the food.

WENT 1940s WEEKEND, VERY BUSY SO DIDN'T MIND THE WAIT, YOUNG GIRL CLEARING TABLES, TAKING ORDERS AND SERVING, DOING HER BEST, 2 PEOPLE IN THE KITCHEN ARGUING BETWEEN THEMSELVES, ORDERED A HAM SANDWICH, CHEAP HAM AND THE BREAD WASN'T BUTTERED, ASKED FOR IT TO BE BUTTERED AND ONLY DID 1 SLICE,FINGER MARKS IN THE BREAD AND THE LETTUCE IN THE SIDE SALAD WAS GOING ROTTEN, THE ONLY THING WORTH EATING WAS THE 6 NACHOS ON THE PLATE, WILL NOT GO HERE AGAIN.
