It's so much bigger inside than you expect .Parking: Loads of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Apart from temporary work at the entrance it is wheel chair friendly. My husband is on crutches and managed perfectly well.

Love this pub chain. The food in the pub is lovely.In truth, I'm dairy intolerant, and they do a steak and ale pie and a chocolate tart with vegan ice cream, which are to die for without having the worry of spending the night on the crapper.

Food was really nice, but a little bit cold when it came out, but the service was excellent and the waiter couldn’t have been any nicer or helpful. The drinks were lovely as well, they have a great selection of beers on tap, wines and soft drinks. It was lacking atmosphere in there but it made up for how nice it looks on the inside. But I guess coming on a Friday lunchtime that’s sort of to be expected. But overall was a great visit and I do recommend!
We bought meals for two adults and two young children at the start of December, two meals being from the festive menu (three courses for around £28). The Yorkshire puddings were rock hard and the sprouts were raw....we still were charged a whopping £91-odd despite parts of the meal being inedible. We will be finding somewhere else to eat next week..... Shame as I've been going to The Stanley Gate on and off for the past 30 years, being a local for part of that time, and the staff and general atmosphere is really good.

Thursday evening hardly anyone in. The food was cold overcooked chicken hard potatoes I'm sure it was just heated up from lunchtime very disappointing & no gesture i.e free pudding after we complained although the sticky toffee pud was nice. Will not be going back had similar experience at Bottle & Glass so guess its chef & brewer pubs
