Had a meal booked for Christmas Day and the service and food were excellent. The meals were served promptly and the portion sizes were very generous. We have eaten out for Christmas dinner for many years and this is one of the nicest, especially the turkey. Rebecca served us and she was friendly and very attentive. Thanks for a lovely day ☺️
We visited the Stanley Gate on Christmas Eve for brunch and I have to say it was a lovely experience. The staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. We ordered breakfasts which were amazing, very fresh and obviously good local produce. The interior of the pub was lovely and decked out in fabulous Christmas decorations which really put us in the festive mood. We will definitely be returning again very soon!

We had 2 meals off the special menu they offer, we had the duck leg and the seafood mixed grill! Both were very nice and the atmosphere was lovely, staff were very attentive and had good wine knowledge to recommend us just the pairing we were looking for.
