“Pretty Decent pub with some drinks being on the more pricey side at times and also there can be quite a rowdy crowd outside in the beer garden now and then. Pub owner is really nice. Food is great and the drinks tasting brilliant.”
Pubs • “We were staying at the nearby So lodges for the weekend, and this pub was a convenient walk away. Varied menu and lovely hot fresh food, at reasonable prices. So good we visited again for Sunday lunch! Very friendly staff too, would definitely recommend”

Pubs • “Trip out for lunch found us here.Quiet perhaps only six in which didn't do much for the atmosphere, the food though made up for it, all four of us enjoying both courses with no room for pudding. The staff were lovely not too attentive but there if you wanted anything. All washed down with a couple of pints of white which ale all in all a good way to spend an afternoon”

“Found this pub by asking Google for pubs near me, saw a picture of a cheese and steak baguette. We drove to it and was not disappointed, it was a steak and stilton baguette served with homemade chips and salad, absolutely delicious, my son had The Black Bull burger which was also very good as were the onion rings also homemade. Lovely atmosphere friendly staff, will definitely return if I am in the area again.”
