Excellent staff really helpful ?Our food was fine, the kids rated the curly fries highly and the lady at the next table was commenting to herself how delicious her stew/casserole was ❤️
Absolutely beautiful food and really friendly landlord. Freshly cooked meals with everything cooked and prepared on site. We had the haddock and chips with mushy peas and also the cheese and onion pie with salad and chips. Both were AMAZING, the fish was beautifully cooked with thin batter and the chips were real chips which you can tell are cut and cooked on the premises. Would 100% recommend and we will be returning. Found this pub by asking Google for pubs near me, saw a picture of a cheese and steak baguette. We drove to it and was not disappointed, it was a steak and stilton baguette served with homemade chips and salad, absolutely delicious, my son had The Black Bull burger which was also very good as were the onion rings also homemade. Lovely atmosphere friendly staff, will definitely return if I am in the area again.
