We tried The Woolpack as they offer Gluten Free meals. As I am Coeliac, I find it difficult to eat out safely and without the feeling that I am deliberately making it difficult. It is obvious that The Woolpack are fully aware of the issues of preparing and serving food to someone with Coeliac Disease. There is a separate GF menu with a wonderful choice of starters, mains and desserts. I personally had the lasagne which came with garlic bread, you could not tell it was gluten free, and it certainly wasn't a small portion. The same can be said for the apple crumble with custard. We will certainly be back as I want to try the rest of the GF menu, which includes all the pizzas. They also informed us that they prepare and cook the GF food in a separate area of the kitchen.

Very disappointing Guinness and Stilton pie flat and cold with 14 chips, chicken tika with additional chips but rice missing and lasagne with no pasta it was tomato with melted cheese and it all took over 30 min to be served and we were the only ones dining. Total cost £40. We won't be back and don't waste your money.

There were seven of us, which included two small well-behaved, children (4 and 7 years old, for our son-in-law's birthday celebration. EVERYTHING about the place was exceptional. The staff, the food, the price of food and drinks, well.....just all of it. Just go there, you'll love it. Absolutely delighted. Thank you so much.
