This was our first but definitely not our last visit. The atmosphere was great and the Landlord "Mick" came over to enquire if we were enjoying ourselves. He's a great guy in our opinion hence the 5 stars.

This pub is by far the best pub in Ashby,lots of televisions for sport,well kept Marstons ales and great selection of lagers,live music aswell every weekend,the staff and management are great aswell ,nothing is too much trouble. What more do you need in a pub!!!

Fabulous visit. The staff are so friendly especially Ben who made us feel so welcome. The food was amazing the Steak and Ale pie is mouthwatering delicious, top marks to Ben the chef. Great selection of drinks with great offers. Good riddance to the pool table.10/10 for the caviar.Staff are spot-on, they make a wonderful team and it's nice to see two men get along as well as Ben and Mick do.Stunningly beautiful Christmas display, bought a tear to my eye.Bonus points for the real taxidermy bear living in the floor, he should have a name though. Eat here often, really tasty food, nice to have a good choice on the menu, had a lovely salad and scampi and chips. Waiting time wasn’t long and the service and atmosphere is very friendly.Vegetarian options: A good amount of veggie options to choose from!

Awesome pub! Classic vibes, decent pint, and good music. The rear events room is especially cool with a huge TV for watching sports.

Visited the White Hart yesterday. Our first visit since new landlord, Mike Herrod, took over. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. The beer was in excellent condition and we were only sorry that we couldn’t have stayed longer. In addition the service throughout was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back. Well done Mike and team ?Vegetarian options: One of the group is a vegetarian and was very happy with their meal and choices offered.
