We go to The Forge roughly once a month. They usually do a cracking Sunday Lunch but today's was next level awesome. The place was heaving but we were still seated and served promptly. Our waitress was friendly and efficient and drinks and food came quickly despite how busy the pub was. It's such a genuinely welcoming place.
We found the Forge Inn by chance when looking for somewhere for two sides of the family to ‘meet in the middle’ between Christmas and New Year - what an absolute gem. The meeting was part festive get together and part coming together after some bad news and this was the perfect place. Enjoyed a lovely family meal at The Forge. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and shown to our table. Both food and drink were excellent. Special mention to Matt our server who was extremely attentive and charming throughout the course of the evening.
