A proper pub that has darts, pool, dominoes teams and only does food a couple of nights a week; pie night and fish and chip night. Booking is essential. Nice outside covered are and small garden. Real ale at sensible prices
Very pleasant staff and service. Food was good. Had a pleasant evening. Would recommend you try it.Now 2020 pub is well set up for take aways Friday and Saturday also 5lt kegs of ale for £20.00.Just book early to assure an order.WELL WORTH TRYING.we use it every week.

Fantastic fish and chip supper night, shared with friends this evening. Beautifully crispy batter surrounding perfectly cooked fish. Absolutely fresh and delicious! Served with chunky chips, mushy peas, homemade tartare sauce, bread and butter! Only £9.50 my local is £4 more!).
