Really loved it here. Food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. The waiter Ollie was an absolute credit to your company and was very professional and friendly. We would definitely eat there again.

Staying in the hotel this was attached to and had a couple of choices for dinner - an overly busy bar restaurant with terrible looking menu or this place which was near empty. (It was a cold mid week night I guess). I took a chance here then checked the TA reviews and heart sank. Actually, better than expected - great friendly service, nice smoked salmon starter with lots of garnish and a GREAT juicy burger and fries (which were on 50% off on promotion for January). Wine was expensive, but aside from that - no complaints (though I would NOT have spent over £40 on a fillet steak.

Amazing service and a nice atmoshere, although the conservatory area was a little chilly. After a small issue with one of our mains, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely evening (Jon and the Manager were especially nice).

We were staying at the hotel. Our party of 4 adults dined here on a Saturday night. So obviously it would be quite busy. But there was only two staff doing practically all the work .Our lovely waitress was rushed off her feet at one point dropped a lot of dirty plates at a tableShe was mortified.The mains were delicious, the Beef stroganoff and Colonel burger .and although the lamb was delicious a lot was wasted due to the amount of hard fat on the strips of meat.

We expected a very nice meal with good service. Unfortunately this was not the case. After 30 minutes we had to go to the bar and ask why we had not received drinks ordered. After an hour we asked 2 wait staff when our food would be ready and were advised it was being plated up. When we finally received meals the Swordfish was very nice but the steak was chewy and lacking in flavour. Tomato accompaniment was tastiest part of dish. Restaurant lacked atmosphere and was very disappointing.
Food took ages to arrive - 40 minutes before our starters arrived. Main course similar. We actually have up waiting for our pudding it took so long, and left.

After a 4 hour journey and looking forward to a Rib-eye steak, I have to say this was the worse steak I have eaten period. Very poor quality, undercooked and even the replacement steak was just as bad! I wish I had gone to Miller & Carter up the road now! Marco Pierre White Steakhouse!? Not a chance!

I was here with my nephew and his girlfriend, a special occasion that went well with good friendly service and faultless steak. It was on the expensive side, but if you want cheap, go to Wimpy. I’d definitely eat here again.

Yeh, 3 star is about right,Worst ribeye I've ever had!Marco I think uou need to spend some time there to save your name.The house wine should be a loss leader not a cheap wine for profit, as it really shows!

The experience at this restaurant was exceptional. The food was incredible & all accompanied by fabulous cocktails of the day. The staff made the experience though… without them it would not be the same!! So friendly, efficient, helpful with dietary requirements & they all made our experience extra special. They are a credit to this restaurant! Thank you to Chelsea, Jon, Xena in the evening & Sharmila at breakfast. You guys are simply the best!
