I reserved a table for 3 of us for afternoon tea to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Booking the table and paying a deposit was easy and efficient over the phone. Due to rearrangements with travel, my Aunt and Uncle had arrived early from Australia and heard I had booked a table and wanted to come also. Although it was close to the last minute, the staff were amazing with preparing for another two people and what an amazing tea it was: lots of variety, very tasty and flavourful, all rounded off with amazing service! Will definitely be coming back! :)

Lovely quirky cafe, lots of art to look at, nice space, fab service and lots of options on the menu.My friend had blueberry cake which looked great, and I had rhubarb cake, which was nice but soggy at bottom with vinegar taste.The coffee was good and staff friendly and very helpful.

Love this place and been going there for years. Not only friendly staff and good food but the paintings that adorn the cafe are normally for sale as well.Nice arts and crafts shop downstairs as well.

A lovely bowl of homemade soup, with bread and butter, and croutons. Delicious. I was going to have a slice of cake to finish, but I was already full. The Art Cafe was an unexpected delight. I was completely unaware of it's existence until today. There are some quite steep stairs to get up there, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a dog friendly area, but trust me, it's well worth a visit.

Home made menu. The BEST lasagne, lovely helpful friendly service. Unhurried. Feels relaxed, spacious and private.

Totally gone down hill been a few times lately , over priced and under cooked food. Staff who announce having a poo when coming out of the toilet, under cooked raw bacon , staff collecting dishes and offering other customer your jam that you have used halve off . Place needs a good clean shame as used to be fab . Constant problems with paying for order all they need to do it update broadband .
