First time at the Pestle & Mortar since moving to the area, staff and locals are very friendly and a good selection of ciders. The bar is dog friendly which was a bonus. Will definitely visit again.
As someone who works with Sue and her team on a professional basis, I am delighted to say that their beer is kept well, the atmosphere is always great and the staff friendly and engaging.I'm lucky enough to be paid to go the Pestle and Mortar through work but wouldn't hesitate to visit socially either

We had an amazing night here as a small group. Lovely and cosy quirky pub. Lovely comfy seats and a great selection of drinks. Nice and clean inside, and the barstaff were friendly and efficient. It's an interesting pub with all of the decor and funky gents urinals made from beer barrels. Just go! You'll love it.
