Perfect setting for our small family meal. Warm and comfortable with friendly, efficient staff. The food was excellent, couldn't fault a thing. I would definitely recommend.Vegetarian options: Vegetable lasagne is excellent

i have used this pub on and off since it first opened , over the years it has had some brilliant landlords , sadly to say now it's not a very welcoming pub , unless you are one of the regulars who sit in the bar 7 days a week , the brewery owners need to retrain the landlords and there family on hospitality .

We had a work function at the Tin Hat and it couldn't have been better. Huge thank you to Jo for securing the room for us, and to Anna, Charlie and the rest of the team for all of your help and hospitality. There were a lot of us but everyone had a great time and really enjoyed the delicious food!

Well we read the reviews and thought we would go for a Sunday roast, turned up ordered drinks and it looks a nice place. 30 minutes for the starter and then one hour for the mains ( the plates werehot but everything on them from mash to meat to the veg were stone cold). They took the plates away and we decided to leave. Won't be going back!!

Love this pub … my boyfriend lives locally and we often pop in for food or drinks … service is always good and fast, friendly staff who always make you feel extremely welcome & food is tasty. Great place to visit ?

Zero response to online booking enquiry. So looking forward to Sunday lunch and sent enquiry form online earlier in the week. Having received no confirmation, today I called in to check status, only to be told that owing to a private event there would be no bookings taken for this Sunday. I suggested that a phone call or email response would have been appropriate. Evidently the pub does not always receive online messages, I suggest bulldust or at the least the pub should change online server. Very poor response.
