Had a fantastic meal, but was let down by very mediocre wine selection. Bought bottle of wine which had little to no taste…. And wines served in gin glasses…….. when did that become a thing!
We were on a canal boating holiday looking for a takeaway meal and this was very close for us to walk to and pick up. The staff were very helpful when we rang and ordered, and very chatty and friendly when we picked it up. The food was very well wrapped up for us to carry back, and was lovely and hot and obviously freshly cooked. Been living in Hinckley for 7 years now. Tried a few different places for an occasional change but always end up coming back here. Good food for a reasonable price and friendly team. Never had a raw fish left on my windscreen… ?
