Tried this place a few times on the way back from Sainsbury's... had the fish, chips, lamb and chicken doner and its all freshly made and really tasty. I live 15 minutes away and I now use this as my local! Service is quick and great!Parking: Lots of parking on the street outside the shop
Oadby Fish Bar has been our local chippy for almost 20 years. Great food, consistently good service even during busy evening periods. Nick and his team are friendly and the food is amazing and authentic. Would highly recommend the souvlaki. Reasonable prices and good portion sizes.

Really good fish and chips et al, excellent service (with a dusting of dodgy jokes to liven up the wait) but boy do you lovely people need to take card payments (hence the 4* overall rating). If you know, you know, and you make an additional trip to a cash machine, but people simply don't carry cash anymore. Other than that, though, it's a great chippy.Vegetarian options: I eat meat so vegitarian options aren't on my radar, aside from the obvious: chips.
