I recently had the pleasure of visiting your lovely pub and wanted to share my positive experience with you.I must admit that I was initially drawn to your establishment due to its reputation for outdoor drinking, fine dining with a country pub feel, and dog-friendly atmosphere. I was not disappointed! The ambience at your pub is truly delightful, and it was clear to see why it is such a popular and bustling destination.Despite the busy nature of the pub, the service was incredibly attentive, and the staff were warm and welcoming. It is impressive how your team manages to uphold such a high level of service even during peak times. The dog-friendly aspect of your pub is also brilliant, and it was wonderful to be able to enjoy the atmosphere with my furry companion. It's always a relief to find a place that can accommodate four-legged friends. While I thoroughly enjoyed my visit overall, I must admit that the food was a bit of a mixed bag for me. The basic cheeseburger with French fries, priced at £17, felt a bit overpriced for what was essentially a simple meal. I expected a bit more in terms of quality and presentation, especially given the overall appeal of your pub. However, I must commend the flavors, as the food did taste good. One standout feature of your pub is the ample parking. The ability to take a leisurely stroll into the woods across the fields and then return for a hot bowl of soup and a pint is truly a unique and enjoyable experience. In spite of my minor qualms about the food, I am thoroughly impressed by the overall presentation, atmosphere, and the exemplary staff at your pub. It is definitely a place I will be recommending to friends and family, and I do look forward to visiting again in the future.Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience, and I look forward to returning to your pubWheelchair accessibility: Very accessible

We had beautiful food here on Boxing Day. Everything was cooked to perfection with a special shoutout to the roast beef which melted in your mouth. The pub is a lovely setting and felt super cute and Christmassy. Service was also great. Overall 10/10 will deffo be back.

We had a lovely meal which could not be faulted . The service was fantastic and pitched just right , Very friendly and attentive but not over bearing . The only negative was limited Christmas decorations and no background music which affected the atmosphere for us.

Very shabby decor.A poor menu, small portions and they served up burnt butternut squash. We wont be returning.

Phenomenal place! Great drinks, service and atmosphere. Was a touch disappointed with a gluten free alternative offered for dinner this evening, but the staff were great and remedied the situation. My friends enjoyed their food, and we all enjoyed the vibes!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free burger bun was hard as a rock, but the staff were helpful about it!

The place is gorgeous , great atmosphere we had chicken and fish and chips food was lovely . Only downside they kept forgetting things like our olives and onion rings and service was slightly slow by waiter

Delicious, home cooked fresh food in a lovely, traditional atmosphere. PLUS! The staff accommodated our additional needs child, in a way I couldn’t have dreamt of. The manageress was beyond understanding, giving options and warmth that made our whole meal amazingly comfortable. Her understanding and flexibility made our family meal as good as it could possibly be. Thank you ☺️

A warm, welcoming venue. My and my wife went out for her 40th birthday. The service was excellent and prompt. The food was absolutely tremendous. There was even a server coming round offering people extra Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes! The price is reasonable also. What a fabulous restaurant!Upon paying the bill we were approached by the manager who taken payment and just happened to mention it was my wife’s 40th and she returned with a bottle of Prosecco to take away! An amazing touch of class that made our whole experience. Also there was a live singer on and he was brilliant also. Excellent restaurant in a tremendous setting.Parking: Had to park on the street as car park full

A fantastic experience at this restaurant, we were offered the festive menu and the food did not disappoint ? the prawn cocktail was amazing with plenty of sauce and prawns. We all then had the turkey which was very tasty and a great size meal. The Prosecco also went down really well and Sam and the teams service was fantastic and we look forward to returning in the future.

Visited today for Sunday dinner, booked in advance for 2 people, was taken to our table in the corner, next to another table for two, I felt I had gone out for dinner with two strangers as the tables were so close to each other, you couldn’t have a private conversation. Ordered 2 starters, 2 mains, the mains came and didn’t get the starters. Although management came over to apologise for this.Came to pay the bill, only to be told couldn’t pay with cash. No sign up to mention this, absolutely disgusting cash is legal tender and should be accepted.
