Visited today. Food is very mediocre and over cooked, portions small and young waitress inattentive. The place was empty start to finish.Lady at the bar oddly wearing hair net ? and looked very bored.Disappointed.

Ordered the Avocado and Poached Egg on toasted Muffin. Honestly, it was literally perfect. Very generous portion, ripe sliced Avocado and two perfectly cooked poached eggs..... Delicious.....Cannot wait to go back.

We have visited this wonderful cafe numerous times over the past couple of years as the service and the food are always good quality. Great choice of dishes too. Can highly recommend the prawn and salmon salads. Very helpful staff when needing help with food intolerances. Ate here again last week and once again enjoyed our time here. Highly recommended.

We were very disappointed. Coffee machine needed fixing, but we understood that. However it took half an hour to bring us a cup of ginger tea and a coffee made with boiling water. I then asked for a flapjack, off the counter and after 20 minutes I went to find out what had happened, and the assistant said, I'm just bringing it, but she was chatting and drinking, so not the truth. I don't think we will be back.

This is my favourite cafe in Loughborough. The staff are so friendly and the food is delicious. The menu is varied and food is hot and well presented. Cakes are home made on site and devine.Today, I came in for breakfast and had Eggs Florentine. Eggs were poached to perfection and the home made Hollandaise sauce was so tasty!I can highly recommend this cafe.

This was such a pretty cafe and the menu really provides something for everyone. We opted for the all day brunch, full English breakfast, and chocolate pancakes.I have to say the sausages were great! Good quality and full of flavour. My mushrooms were buttery and the bacon added a lovely saltiness to the plate. The pancakes were light, fluffy and came with a generous helping of fresh strawberries and Nutella. We felt that one or two things could have been improved or lacked finesse. My scrambled egg was well-overcooked and rubbery in texture and the fried potatoes had lost all their crisp. I wasn’t personally a fan of the tomatoes, they appeared as though they had come straight from a can… a roasted tomato would have been a welcome alternative.Overall it was a very enjoyable brunch in a lovely setting.

Great food, helpful staff. Would have given 5 stars but front door needs fixing. Quite cool in there as door doesn't shut.
