A small group of us were staying in holiday accommodation in Aylsham and this was the nearest pub to our home for the weekend so we popped in to visit our 'local'. We visited on both Friday night and Saturday night.Friday night we weren't overwhelmed as the lighting was a bit too bright for our liking but there were no major issues in any way. Great afternoon in there the other week - friendly barmaid and locals. Good pub - full credit where deservedly due. No stars for the food as I didn't have any but I'm sure that's OK as well. Good pub - I like this place...

A traditional pub with good service, a good selection of drinks and a separate darts room which now has a number of seated tables instead of a pool table. The usual fruit machines, a quiz machine and a pretty impressive internet linked duke box with thousands of tracks to choose from. Cosy place
