I stopped by the Quorndon Fox for drinks on a Saturday afternoon. The pub has got car park and is located in a convenient position between Leicester and Derbyshire. Before you sit down, you need to register your vehicle, as the car park is automated. It's handy to park and parking doesn't incur in additional charges.The pub offers a variety of drinks and food. Looking at the menu, the products are a little overpriced in comparison to nearby places. We only stopped for drinks, but didn't try their food. Drinks were not extraordinary, but pleasant after all.Service was delivered. However, at our arrival, the table was not clean and we had to ask staff to sanitise it multiple times - something that should've been done in advance. The lady at the bar was kind and responsive. She endeavoured to look after us, considering the place was quite busy at the time.The venue is not spacious enough to accommodate many guests, but it features an outdoor area. This could help on the busiest days. When weather is not nice, it would be a challenge to find a place to sit - as it was during the visit.Moreover, one side of the venue is reserved to diners, which impedes access to most of the sitting area. Decor is simple and doesn't really convey a special atmosphere.Overall, a regular place to stop and have a drink. Other venues in the area would serve this purpose more effectively.

Very slow to be seated waited 10 minutes staff kept coming past but nobody said we will be with you in a moment or apologised for delay. Very slow drink and food order service. Food did come in good time and was good quality. During meal an old lady was choking. I had to step in and perform first aid. 1 member if staff bought water but nobody else helped or checked on the lady. Nobody said thank you for stepping in and was a serious incident performing hemlick manoeuvre twice. Felt staff should have tried to help. Had to ask for bill and to pay 3 times. We visit a lot but today was disappointing and will not be back.

Went in today for lunch. Stood at the bar for about 10 minutes and there was zero service. A woman was standing there before me and she had not been served. Staff were serving restaurant customers but no one behind the bar.This appears to be the standard operating procedure at this excuse of a pub that does foodMy wife heard the manager state he had 10 more customers in the restaurant area that had to be served before anyone in the bar.

We had the Sunday Lunch which was very enjoyable, good tasty food. The table service was efficient, attentive and very polite. Overall we enjoyed our first visit to the Quorndon Fox and will most certainly return.
