I have not visited this place for many years and was delighted I had returned. All staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. We chose the lunch menu, which had a good selection. I had calamari and fish and chips, and my wife had duck parfait with forestiere chicken. My triplefried chips were excellent with a light and crispy batter and really fresh cod. A high price paid for what I expected to be a really good New Years Eve celebration. The meal was very good and the service was excellent. We were expecting a party atmosphere and maybe something extra based on the cost.
