We had a Christening reception for our baby boy in The Horse and Trumpet function room and couldn't have been happier with the service we received. The staff were so helpful and flexible with our needs, especially as we had limited time to get the room ready for our guests. They attended to our every need and were just so lovely. Would highly recommend hosting an event in this wonderful venue.

I just popped in here for a pint after a long walk. Very good barman, excellent ham cob for only £2.50! The regulars were really friendly and helpful too.
