First time there and I won't be returning. Had really high hopes, but the food and the service were really poor. We ended up leaving pretty quickly and all of us went somewhere else. Was also made to feel very uncomfortable. It seems like it has great potential, but if your face doesn't fit, then you'll definitely know about it.

Husband asked the barmaid about menus at the bar, where he was served a pint. He hadn't paid for it before sitting down, which would seem to indicate that it was going to go on the food bill. We briefly read through the menu under very dim lighting conditions & quickly chose a couple of burgers at £10 each. When I went to order them, I was told that the kitchen had closed. I had to wait for my husband to rush his £4.70 pint of Amstel before walking to find another pub which served food (Swan in the Rushes, which wasn't as nice inside, but the lighting allowed one to see & the homemade burgers were surprisingly good).

For a drink before moving on to a restaurant, this place is unusual. It has a great range of ales, and the service was friendly and prompt. The whole place, though, was noisy. Everyone was shouting, disrespecting neighbouring tables conversations. One table of 3 ladies, in particular, offended us with their shrieking and shouting. This is no way to behave and unfortunately typifies this place. Hence, it is rare that we drink here unless it's a quiet time. The management should really address this issue.

Excellent, as always, our first visit since the floods. It's great to see it open. Food and drinks..... lovely.

Had some lunch and the food was absolutely amazing and the stuff really made it a special day for my sons 18th

dark-ish, wood panels, couple of real fires on the go... you get the picture: a cosy harbour, safe from the whipping wind and cold outside. Dog-friendly. Food very tasty. Saturday lunchtime surprisingly quiet but gradually filled up with shoppers stopping for a late bite to eat. Would def go again!

Yes the white hart is indeed a lovely pub.

Honestly. So good. All the staff members were on point. (Mike was a real gent, even grabbed us on our way out when we thought there wasnt a table available. Food was on point. Back again for sure. Loved
Nice friendly place, real fires, candles on tables, nice beer and friendly service. Great place for a couple of drinks and some grub. The menu is a bit limited, being mainly burgers and loaded fries, but they do a good job of what's on offer. The poutine fries were delicious.

Cozy little pub, good range of beer and spirits. No food was being served on the day of my last visit, so you're recommended to check before you go if you want to eat.
