We had a wonderful time and meal thanks

We only popped in for a coffee and stayed a while soaking up the warm outside seating area with cosy rugs and blankets.Literally on the bend of the road, we decided to call in and break up our journey.Great service, really friendly, giving us time to relax and take time out whilst on our way to Leeds.Thank you guys.Parking: Easy to park, plenty of space in a nice welcoming car park.

Heard great reports about the restaurant so visited as a family for Sunday lunch.Everything about the place was excellent, best Sunday roast I have ever had.The rest of the family had the Vegan or Vegerarian options and they were also quality.Had desserts and they too were excellent.Staff are great, nothing too much trouble for them.We had no trouble parking at all.Told everyone I know how good it is.Will be returning on a regular basis.

Lovely evening on Saturday. Staff, without exception were superb,. Hope they go from strngth to strength. Just one small gripe. A malt shisky should be served with a separate jug of water not drowned from the tap. Overall an excellent pub.

First visit on the recommendation of friends (whom we dined with) and it was outstanding. Setting, decor, atmosphere (vibrant and lively), service, food... couldn't fault any of it. Cannot wait to visit again.Parking: Good sized carpark but on a busy weekend night, one has to revert to on-street parking, which is limited but okay.

Was busy but the staff were very attentive. The food was absolutely lovely and such a nice atmosphere, very comfortable and cosy. Highly recommended. Always wanted to go here since we drove past it a few times and it looked like such a nice place, and my husband has surprised me tonight for my birthday ? and it was evert bit as nice as I'd had hoped.

Great food and lovely

Enjoyed food, service good. The only downside was the sun in the conservatory in our eyes. Awful to moan about sun in winter but my guest was uncomfortable. Parking was a bit tight.

I had lunch today for the first time since the Restaurant has reopened, and it was excellent in every way. The food was delicious and the service was excellent, I can't wait to visit again.

Upmarket and classy. The food is par excellence. The staff are so friendly and professional. They treat you like a long-lost relative. The drinks are pricey but acceptable for the experience we received. We were lucky to speak with the chef as we were the last couple to leave at lunchtime. He was anxious to learn if we enjoyed the new menu. We had a very nice conversation with him. Whatever they are paying him, it's not enough. The whole experience was sensational. Make sure you book well in advance as the lunchtime sitting was very busy. Thank you Tap & Run. We will be back most definitely.Parking: Due to the popularity of the lunchtime session, parking is at a premium. It's well worth the inconvenience.

Hi, my fabulous son-in-law James booked for myself, my daughter Gemma and my grand-daughter Millie (together with Blossom the dog) for our pre-Mother's Day lunch .... well, what a treat we had. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table.George looked after us for the duration of our lunch, along with Gertrude! George, not only handsome, but knowledgeable about the beers, foods and wine was so attentive and ensured that Millie was treated like a special guest too. The food was delivered to our table in good time and looked lovely. Our food was superbly delicious. From the Goan monkfish starters, to the Burger (with a side of battered onion rings), Salmon Poke & Shell on Garlic King Prawns mains ... and somehow we managed Bakewell Tarts and Cheeseboard Deserts ... I do not know how ... we were overwhelmed by the fantastic menu! Eyes clearly bigger than bellies ?However, above all, from the moment of our arrival to when we left, the atmosphere in the restaurant was tremendous, each and every member of staff were, quite possibly, the politest we have enjoyed in such a long time. The location, interior decoration and style of The Tap & Run is both special and yet intimate too.I look forward to visiting again soon!Thank you all so very much for making our visit Lovely xxx
