Sunday lunch is just fantastic value and a delicious traditional lunch. Beef offered rare, medium or well done, vegetables are served separately and must mention the cauliflower cheese. Deserts are all homemade and you are assured of a warm welcome by the owners. We go regularly from Nottingham and meet friends from Leicester
Our first visit to The Anchor…meeting friends for a pre-Christmas meet up. We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table. We had pre-ordered our meals which when arrived. …we couldn’t believe our eyes. It was absolutely amazing and so tasty. Plenty of choice and the brussels arriving on the stalk was certainly a talking point. Sweets were divine and nice to see different choices. It’s actually Chevon Needham, just want to say, what a brilliant night we’ve had here tonight. Music great, kids disco good and the atmosphere brilliant. Food good and beer good. Well done to all behind the bar. Will definately be back.
