My first time and I wasn't disappointed, food was lovely and cooked fresh.

A warm welcome awaits you & your well behaved dog (if you have one). Service is quick and friendly & the food is tasty (we had two breakfasts). There are veggie options available, including a breakfast and also gluten free bread available plus a gluten free brownie. The cafe is not immediately obvious when you walk in the building, but walk through to the back and through a pair of curtains (keeps the heat in) & you'll find it. You might get distracted on the way by the many vintage items on offer, including vinyl. There is a hardstanding car park outside & a toilet is available up a single step.Would definitely recommend it for a breakfast, lunch or cake stop!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a flat entrance to get in to the cafe, but I would contact them about suitability of the toilet facilities & also the shop might be a little narrow to manoeuvre a wheelchair in places.

Staff were very patient with a big group of people turning up at different times. The food was lovely, in particular the chunky vegetable soup. My wife had the omelette which was just as tasty. Jacket spuds were great and the kids loved them. Fisher off with scone with jam and clotted cream. Top place. Good to have a wonder round the emporium afterwards

Had the best afternoon tea party with my lovely girlfriends. Jen and the whole Alberts team made us so welcome and it was a very special afternoon for all.

Lovely lunch today (tuna melt and cream tea) before matinée at the theatre. Will return when I'm next in the area; lots of other things I'd like to try.
Very good food. Great place to visit and spend time looking at Antiques. All staff very helpful. A different place to go, I know of non other quite the same.

Delicious homemade scones. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. Lovely garden area to eat outside when the weather is warm

We didn't use the cafe, but thoroughly enjoyed the antiques. Loads of stalls and friendly staff. Albert was very helpful and informative. Recommend!

Lovely cafe stop. I come here on my bike alone. The lady who runs it is lovely as is the lad who takes the orders. Its a great cafe with nice food at very reasonable prices. Should be more places like this. Dont like the moaners who complain about small businesses like this who give good service at very reasonable prices.

I’m not sure when but I believe this cafe is under new management as of maybe last year, but I’m not sure? Anyhow if you haven’t visited this place in a while, or since the new lady has taken over, then you really should give it another go. This cafe is great. There’s a good menu (which also caters for veggies) and it’s nicely situated through the cool antiques shop. The lady who works in the cafe is brilliant and seems unflappable despite the high volume of customers at times. Always warm and welcoming and her breakfasts are on point. The prices are very reasonable as well. Also, the veggie sausage rolls are ‘peng’!!! Keep up the good work Alberts!!!!!Vegetarian options: Veggie full English Breaky. Veggie Sausage Rolls. Oat milk also available. I think they also have vegan cakes of some sort. Maybe even veggie chilli but don’t quote me on that.
Great food, reasonably priced.
