Lovely cafe stop. I come here on my bike alone. The lady who runs it is lovely as is the lad who takes the orders. Its a great cafe with nice food at very reasonable prices. Should be more places like this. Dont like the moaners who complain about small businesses like this who give good service at very reasonable prices.
I’m not sure when but I believe this cafe is under new management as of maybe last year, but I’m not sure? Anyhow if you haven’t visited this place in a while, or since the new lady has taken over, then you really should give it another go. This cafe is great. There’s a good menu (which also caters for veggies) and it’s nicely situated through the cool antiques shop. Staff were very patient with a big group of people turning up at different times. The food was lovely, in particular the chunky vegetable soup. My wife had the omelette which was just as tasty. Jacket spuds were great and the kids loved them. Fisher off with scone with jam and clotted cream. Top place. Good to have a wonder round the emporium afterwards
