“Lovely little country pub. Food served midweek only between 12 and probably 2:30, as it closes around 3pm for the afternoon.Food is very nice and locally sourced, nice small simple menu and everything seems fresh.Good beer too!Parking: About 6 spots with a disabled space, but often I’ve seen people blocking others spaces and using the disabled yellow cross-hatch to cram another car in. Street parking can be tricky too”

“Just returned from a weekend stay here, on arrival welcomed by staff in the pub who were happy to help. I arrived a few hours before check in so enjoyed the afternoon beer garden luckily the weather was brilliant, food was served hot, well cooked and were not waiting long, the dining area in the evening was busy both nights very popular. The room was nice clean and tidy although very very hot and the fan didn't help much at all. Breakfast cooked to order and continental choice available also. I did notice that you couldn't eat hot food outside, a few passing customers left because of this so lost a bit of trade, as i stayed in the hotel it didnt bother me too much about not eating outside but would of been nice as it was beautiful. On a final note i would like to mention Louise who was amazing, saw her everyday of my stay always happy and helpful, had time to chat and gave some fab cocktail recommendations ? made my stay more enjoyable by far, the whole team who were on shift this weekend all had time for a chat and a laugh. Great team.”
