We went to Livio's on a Friday and hadn't booked. This wasn't an issue as the restaurant was very quiet and after eating here we struggled to understand why it wasn't busier given the quality of the food and price. Can this Gem of a place really be in the town of Shepshed?!You might think I have not been before, with that statement of astonishment. This Italian restaurant continues to amaze me since I last visited. It is a survivor of our past troubles, bouncing back, or should I say, ploughed through to provide an excellent welcome, service and delicious cuisine. An experience not to be missed. 2nd time we've been here and will definitely go again. My husband so loved the lamb dish in particular (our friends and I loved all of our meals) that he couldn't wait to go again, he was a real pain until we booked!
