The room was very clean. However, I found the bed to be very soft (my opinion only) as I am used to a hard bed. On both occasions, I went to the restaurant all the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful, the food was very good and I enjoyed both meals, the atmosphere was a bit subdued (no fault of the hotel) as there was a wake being held on the day of my visit (condolences to the family and friends)

Great place as always. This is our second stay here in 2 years, and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. The spa and leisure facilities are great. There's a beauty room providing lovely treatments, a well equipped gym, a lovely swimming pool with sauna, steam, and jacuzzi. There's also a tennis court, snooker table and golf course. We have had lunch twice in the bar/restaurant and enjoyed the food very much. We're looking forward to our next stay here.

The hotel location is in a lovely setting, very quiet and relaxing. There could have been directions for the toaster so you don’t stand there for 5 minutes waiting for it not realising you’re allowed to turn the knob at this hotel - however despite taking breakfast late it was well stocked and still hot.
