Nice refit since I last visited. The landlady June is really friendly and her staff are very attentive.Had a gyros , probably one of the best I’ve ever had.. Not the cheapest but quality costs.

One of the best Sunday lunches I’ve ever had. Made it better as it was Mother’s Day. Beef just melts in your mouth.

A really lovely place, lots of space and the food is really good and well priced. Steak pie (which actually had steak in it!!) with a mountain of fries, peas and lots of beef gravy, and a chicken supreme burger (the photo doesn't do it justice) with homemade chips which was fantastic. To top it off the bar staff working the day we went were great, welcoming, chatty and witty. Well worth a visit.

I ordered cheese and bacon fries but the cheese wasn’t close to melted, not only that the fries were burnt to a crisp. My grandma got the lasagna but it had giant strips of bacon unlike advertised to have non large bacon. There was a crappy air freshener which made us all feel weird . The lady at the bar was also rude. If I could I would put minus 1.

Unfortunately we did not have a positive experience when we ate here. Firstly it was a pay as you go system. No tab allowed. I had the lasagna worsted I have ever tasted. No Italian taste full of slices of ham or bacon. The giro misleading. A nana bread with chicken strips not homemade. The burger was ok. We were not asked was the food ok by the staff.

Beautiful pub with a large well kept outdoor space. The food is better than you would expect from a pub, really good burgers.Friendly welcoming staff

Four of us enjoyed our lunch here today. Steak pie, rump steak, McGiro and chicken giro. All very generous portions and very enjoyable. Well presented food in a comfortable pub environment.Highly recommend.

Lovely Pub quite authentic, good choice of drinks at the bar, couple of regulars sat near us who recomended the Mixed Gyros & we wern’t disappointed, also the Polite young guy at the bar was very helpful, he told me his name & that I would spell it wrong, so I won’t try, all in all very enjoyable

Was passing and thought we would give it a try, having never been before. What a great meal. The wife had the fish pie. She gave this 10 out of 10.I had the roast beef dinner. Again 10 out of 10.And the service was just as good as the food. Excellent all round.
