Very good , good food at a good price , they're trying to get the pub back on its feet and good luck to them . Well prepared food , everywhere clean , toilets clean , good range of puddings . There was a few of us and we're returning in a few weeks . Good luck to them I hope it works out . ?

Really nice, friendly pub. Went along to watch a singer on a Sunday evening, and really enjoyed the atmosphere. It feels a bit like a social club, as everyone knew each other, but they were also friendly and welcoming. The bar staff were absolutely lovely, always ready with a smile as they worked tirelessly. The toilets were absolutely immaculately clean, as was the rest of the pub. Looking forward to going back again.

We often have a takeaway Sunday lunch (they will deliver free of charge, but I prefer to collect so I can have a pint). The food is just like having a home made meal and plenty of it. There is always two or three choices of main course and sweet packed in aluminium foil dishes to keep it warm or to reheat late. The gravy and custard comes in separate containers.
