“Stopped off at the 6 Bells briefly last week to meet some friends who had a meal there. I joined them for a cheeseboard for dessert. Everyone was complimentary of the food they had consumed. Nice atmosphere inside with a beautiful area out the front for summer evenings. Service was efficient & energetic, provided by a youthful team. Would love to return in the future to try the rotisserie chicken.”

“BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE CURRY
zoom into my photo and see the disgusting state of the dirty cooking oil all over the poppadoms. It has now been two separate occasions where they have been served this this way and the last time when I had eaten it I was sick for two days !
If you get served poppadoms in this condition send them back. The kitchen has quality poppadoms which they will swap them for. The Raymond May's could be a good pub it they would manage the quality of the food leaving the kitchen. These poppadoms are disgusting and should never be served like this.”

“The majority of our food was great as usual and I usually enjoy the food but today was just a bad one off perhaps. The chicken ceasar salad was a real let down. I was so looking forward to it all afternoon. Absolutely swimming in dressing which kind of defeats the idea of a nice healthy meal....chicken was dry. It would be great if the sauce was in a pot so I could have used the amount I wanted. It seemed to be regular lettuce too so it went all sloppy because it was covered in sauce which meant the croutons were soggy too. A Ceasar salad should be lovely and crunchy. Not one part of it was crunchy. I just can't believe how much sauce there was...completely swimming in it. Really inedible unfortunately. The only reason I'm writing it on here is because I did tell the waitress but it fell completely on deaf ears. She was a young lass who could have cared less about my experience. They were clearly very busy.”
