This was my first ever visit and it was my Birthday. Normally when I eat Indian food I have a Korma because it's mild and not spicy as I don't like spicy food. My partner and I chose 3 mains, poppadoms and pickle tray, rice, naan bread followed by coffee and tea. I chose Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani and my partner chose a dish that was award winning but I think can't recall what it's name is. Anyway I was able to eat everything and it was all delicious. first time here,new to the area so a new indian was a must.we have been spoiled in the past with the chef from our local indian in snaith the shapla was from bradford.so we tried the mumbai lounge.first i had the chicken korahi,my wife had the chicken bhuna.well we couldnt tell them apart..theres too much onions which are still like in small chunks..there was no sauce.both were very dry tasting and bland.the chicken was though very nice.very tender the chappatis are very small...read full review
Have used this restaurant numerous times now for a takeaway and dine in, the meals have always been to a consistently high standard, all staff are pleasant and friendly. It is definitely our choice of Indian Restaurant, would highly recommend.
