Stopped ear ? for the 1st time ⏲️ 21.02.2024 in alk my 40 yeats of driving. The grub is 1st class staff are spot on well worth a visit. The lorry Park is a bit rough BUT the rest more than makes up for it. 10 out 10 shame there wasn't more places like this to stay. Will defo stop again if I'm about BUT when your all over the country like Gypsies Dogs ? tramping never know where your next load takes you. Many Thanks Lyndon Powell

Very cool place. When I entered, I almost fell asleep because of how great it is inside! Delicious large portions, lots of beers on tap and in bottles. If you park, you have to pay an extra £2 for food.Parking: Dusty car park off the A1 but the Fox Inn is very satisfactory.

Second time here, the first was during lockdown so a while ago now but still impressed with the place, very friendly staff running the place, they have two dogs that are absolutely adorable, Overnight parking is cash card or snap I had the gammon with chips and beans and it was tasty plentiful and piping hot. They were a few contractors in the bar as well as fellow truck drivers and it was a good atmosphere with plenty of friendly banter there is also a pool table. I would 100% recommend it and will definitely stay again.
Lovely little place, proper family feel inside and decent grub. Shower was clean warm and wet what more do you need. Will be coming back!

What can I say apart from what an amazing place to stay ,showers was spotless and red hot, beer was lovely and cold lol and the food was superb , staff are lovely highly recommended 5 stars from me keep it up
