Had a lovely roast here today. Was very nice would return. Fairly priced and nice and fresh My girl had the the nut roast was soo tasty. Stucky toffee pudding was good too. Service was fab and all in all a lovely visit.
Well kept beer to start, and on happy hour.Dinner was great, very tasty beef and Stilton pie plenty of vegetables chips and gravy. Creme brulee pudding spot on.Very pleasant staff, well done everyone.

Splendid meal and great welcome. Lovely Black Sheep bitter. Really great to see our village pub humming again. We ate early but there were lots of people socialising whilst we ate. We weren't alone eating lots in. Cheerful waitress despite being very busy. The main courses were served quickly and were piping hot. My venison cottage pie could have done both of us! We wish the new management well. Hope to be back next week for the "Game Week" menu.
