We live locally and go to the mallard regularly. Lovely peaceful atmosphere and always bump into someone down there we know. Bar staff are lovely and friendly. Definitely recommend
My family loved it here, they enjoyed a Afternoon tea and then had a couple of hours sampling the gins on another occasion, My wife said they were great , she had a lemon one, a strawberry one , a passion fruit one and a you mist come next time one ,,,, and the rest is history leaving me to write her update, a perfect holiday treat and a perfect wife creche while you go out fishing

Fantastic for tea and cake after a lovely dog walk around the woods. Plenty of outdoor seating and dogs are welcome inside in the hard flooring section near the bar. Great service from lovely staff too.
