What a fabulous eaterie! Pre Christmas lunch with my niece and this was the perfect setting. The food was delicious and hot & all of the staff that we encountered were really friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a perfect dining experience. Would definitely recommend.
Enjoyed a family meal in the rustic settings of the restaurant. The pies were very nice. Throughly recommend the Steak and Spitfire ale. However our visit was dented by the extreme greedy and ill thought out service charge. The service want great and I have never seen a charge applied in such a basic restaurant. I asked for the charge to be removed which was not a great place to be after what was a nice meal. Very poorly thought out.

Absolutely a fabulous pie shop! We eventually made it, after flight mishaps! Not disappointed at all! Great choice of pies! Shared the sausage roll started, wow, devine! We both chose the beef and stilton with horseradish mash! Amazing! Served with fresh veggies too! So glad we are visiting, as our figures could not take these glorious pies, so many choices, all need sampling in my opinion’ ????
